Built for US MSPs & cloud/security VARs

Gross margin per client, technician utilisation, and MRR/NRR/churn.
Just ask.

PSA has tickets and contracts. RMM has the fleet. Books have labour and licence cost. None of them agree. Pillar joins them and answers in plain English.

QuickBooks + Sage Intacct cover the MSP back office natively. The PSA/RMM stacks (ConnectWise/Datto Autotask/Kaseya/NinjaOne/HaloPSA) all ship first-class REST APIs — one connector build per stack, then reused. IT Glue + Hudu (documentation systems-of-record) connect via API.

Common questions for IT MSPs & VARs

Our PSA already has reporting (BrightGauge, in-PSA dashboards). Why Pillar?
In-PSA reporting tells you what is happening inside the PSA — tickets, SLAs, contract value. The questions that break that boundary are the profitable ones: gross margin per client needs labour cost from payroll and licence cost from the GL; MRR vs invoiced revenue needs PSA contracts reconciled to the books; cohort churn needs CRM and finance. That cross-system join is what we do — we read your PSA, RMM and GL together and answer in plain English with citations.
We sell security and we get audited. What is your security posture?
We are honest about where we are: SOC 2 Type I is in flight, Cyber Essentials Plus on the roadmap, ISO 27001 next. Infrastructure is EU-hosted (Scaleway, Zürich) under GDPR; tenant data is isolated per customer; secrets live in AWS SSM and are never echoed in answers. Every answer carries a grounded citation (tables, columns, filter, time window) so your own auditor can trace it. If you need formal evidence before signing, ask — we share what we have under NDA.
We grew by acquisition and run two PSAs and three RMMs. Is that a blocker?
No — that mixed estate is exactly the value case. We unify multiple PSAs (e.g. ConnectWise + HaloPSA) into one client list and one contract view, with the source flagged on every row, and we do the same for RMMs (NinjaOne + Datto + N-able). You stop running two month-end packs and start asking one question across the group. The setup is heavier the first time (mapping clients and contracts across instances); after that every month rolls up automatically.
We don't have a data team. Actually, we ARE the data team for our clients.
You don't need one for your own book. No warehouse, no dbt project, no data engineer required — connect your PSA, RMM, books and CRM and ask. The transformation engine underneath does the joins, the metric definitions are versioned, and answers cite their sources. Operations gets the margin-per-client answer it has been asking for, without you building it.
